6 Weeks to Bloom is a 6 week, beginner program designed to get you started with your transformation.  The key point, in this world of fad diets, instant gratification, and quick fixes is that transformation does not happen overnight.  If you’re here because you want to drop 40 pounds and then move on, then this isn’t for you.  If you’re here because you want to drop weight and create a lifestyle of permanent change, then you’re in the right place.

As I write this, I’m seeing the daffodils outside the office.  They’ve been peeking since late January and are at this point practically bursting with blooms, but I still have yet to see a bloom.  I know, though, that in a week or two there will be blooms all over the place and it will be a gift that keeps on giving throughout the first part of spring.  These daffodils made it through snow, a lot of friggin’ rain, and sub-zero cold, and they kept plugging along.  You’re going to be challenged.  From the inevitable “I just don’t have time today”, to the “I just don’t feel like it today”.  The choice to keep going is yours.  Are you going to give in, or bloom?

Weekly meal prep calls to go over prep tips, recipes, and general nutrition tips to make sure you are meeting your caloric goals while maintaining a healthy diet.

Working as a group we support each other as a group, celebrate our success, and learn from our failures.  Weekly check-ins will focus on building a toolkit for success that can be used even after we're done with the program.

Workouts are not required, but highly encouraged since physical and mental discipline go hand in hand.  However, if you want to get started by getting your nutrition and mindset right, then this will work for you!  Optionally, you can also add 1:1 coaching that will give you individualized macro breakdowns, individualized meal plan suggestions, and weekly 1:1 check-ins.

Getting Started

When you’re ready to get started head over to the 6WB page.  You will, after checkout, be sent to a success page to book your events, and it also has instructions on what to do next.  You will need to decide if you want to do the live workouts with me, workout using a BODi® program, or just do the mindset/nutrition component.

If you are doing the mindset/nutrition only or the live workouts, skip to the next section.  If you are going to use non-live workouts, you’ve got an extra step.

Once you complete the checkout form you will be redirected to the coaching agreement form.  Use this form to indicated which program you have or will need.  You can also use this form to add any supplements that you want for the program; once completed you’ll get a cart link within 48 hours to complete check out on the BODi® site for those items.

After you complete checkout (or the coaching agreement depending on your workouts), you land on the success page.  Note that the link to this page will be on the invoice sent to your email; you’ll need that link if you don’t book the events now.  After you complete checkout, you’ll need to finish up a few things to get ready.

1. Book the events

Go ahead and add yourself to the events by booking each event separately.  If you are having trouble booking the events, send an email to [email protected] and we can add you manually; however, you will not get the email with the Zoom® links and will have to join from your dashboard.  To book, simply hit the “Read More” button and follow the prompts.

Once your events are booked you’ll get an email with event details as well as your join links.  If you do not get the email with your join links, or if we manually added you to the event, you can get those links from your appointment manager in your account menu.

2. Complete the 6WB Pre-Work Challenge

The next step is to complete the 6WB Pre-Work Challenge.  Once you complete the challenge any forms will carry over into any other programs for 1 calendar year after completion, so you won’t have to fill them out again (you’ll only need to complete the items specific to that program).  To complete the challenge, log in to your account and go to the challenges tab in your profile page (My Account→Account→Profile→Challenges Tab).

In the challenges tab find the 6WB Pre-Work and either click on the challenge or expand the “Show Details” option.

There are 3 required forms to complete; they can be completed in any order.  Clicking the link in the challenge will take you to the form, or you can go to the forms page.  You’ll get an emailed copy of each form once completed.

Terms and Conditions Agreement

Complete the Physical Activity Readiness form to help determine if you are ready to start a physical activity program.  Even if you're changing your nutrition this form is required.  A "YES" answer means you should check with your healthcare provider prior to making any major lifestyle changes, so be honest with yourself.

A legal requirement, essentially you are acknowledging that you are participating at your own risk and know your limitations.

Finally, you're agreeing to our Terms and Conditions.  In a nutshell, you are agreeing that you are participating in a lifestyle change program and any results are directly dependent on your participation, or lack thereof.  We will not refund any payments made per our terms and industry standard.

Lastly, click the link in the challenge to book the initial consult.  This is a 15 minute Zoom call to help you reflect on what you want to get out of the program, as well as help me learn how to best help you.  Follow the booking form prompts to select and book a time slot.  You’ll get an email with your join link, and you can also find the link in your appointment manager.

3. Optional - Complete the Lifestyle Assessment

Optionally complete the lifestyle assesssment questionnaire.  This questionnaire can be found as a separate challenge on the Challenges tab (Self-Learner).  While optional, we strongly encourage filling this out prior to the intial consult to best determine how to make the program work for you.
